Background:

Micromechanics (m) sdn bhd was founded on January 15th, 1987 under the name of I.N.G.R.E.M. SDN BHD. The name was changed to present name on March 13th, 1989. We are a company of the Swatch Group of Switzerland and located in Taman Meru Industrial Estate, Ipoh. Our main activities are the fabrication of mechanical and electronic components for watch movements, especially for the Far East Market. Apart from manufacturer, we also function as Finance, Human Resources, Logistics (including purchasing) and we have our own supporting departments such as Toolroom, Maintenance and Facilities. We are certified under ISO 9001:2000 standards and our management system is focused on continuous improvement in all areas.
